The Mount Carmel Township Police Department serves a community of approximately 3,900 residents, and 22 Square Miles and includes Atlas, Locust Gap, Diamondtown, and Marion Heights The Police department is staffed with 13 officers who display professionalism.

Our officers place a great emphasis on community policing, traffic enforcement, and deterrence of criminal activity within the Township. The department is undergoing changes in order to maintain our current excellent quality of life in the Township and to keep up with the needs of our residents.
